Six months after leaving Fortec to join Palletways, Newark-based International Logistics Centre said it is reaping the benefits of Palletways’ IT system, which it claimed had cut administration hours at the haulage and freight forwarding business.
The firm made the move from Fortec in October of last year. Andrew Morris, MD, told motortransport.co.uk.
“Whilst we had a very good relationship with Fortec and wish them all the best – we have found that the Palletways technology is just brilliant and more akin to what TNT and DHL use.
"Problems are resolved immediately and so it has cut the number of phone calls down by around 90%, reducing manpower massively,” he said.

International Logistics Centre, which covers the LN postcode, offers both domestic and international services through Palletways from its Newark depot.
The Nottinghamshire company, which has a team of around 50 staff, specialises in transportation, shipping, export packing, warehousing and storage and operates a fleet of 12 artics and 18-tonners.
