Scottish haulier McPherson has taken delivery of the UK’s first pair of Volvo FM liquefied natural gas (LNG) tractor units. The Arbelour-based firm, which specialises in transporting bulk spirits, will initially be using the new gas trucks to carry distillery by-products to Scotland’s central belt. Both trucks are equipped to full ADR specifications to also enable them to transport bulk spirit movements.
