The DVSA has appointed Becky Thomas as the new director of strategy and policy. The DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme has finally moved into its pilot stage after a protracted build up.
The Fors Community Partnership has described the elevation of one of its silver members to gold status, just as the Upper Tribunal confirmed the firm’s O-licence should be suspended for drivers’ hours and tachograph offences, as “unfortunate timing”.
The conviction of 15 drivers based at Eddie Stobart’s Teesport depot for drivers’ hours and tachograph offences, has seen the company’s North Eastern O-licence cut by 140 vehicles for three-months.
