A company that took on some of the work of a Cardiff haulier after it entered administration has now gone into liquidation.
D&A 004 took on staff employed by D&A Media Bristol when the latter entered administration in June.
D&A Media Bristol described itself as a “family run business”, delivering full and part loads, as well as offering warehouse space.
It also trunked newspapers such as The Daily Mail, Mirror and The Echo.
Both D&A 004 and D&A Media Bristol shared common directors, Andrew Emmett and Richard Grimes.
However, insolvency practitioners confirmed that D&A 004 has now entered liquidation:
“FRP Advisory were appointed as liquidators for D&A 004 on 12 December 2018 and are in the process of winding down the business in accordance with the statutory liquidation process,” said an FRP Advisory spokeswoman.
It is not known how many staff are affected.
In 2013, D&A Media Bristol bought the assets of D&A Transport Cardiff for £160,000 after the latter company entered administration.
