Charging non-compliant HGVs £100 to enter Southampton’s clean air zone (CAZ) is excessive, according to many of the city’s residents. The government is to consider extending the grant system for low-emission vans to larger vehicles, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) has revealed.
HGVs will need to be Euro-6 to enter the whole of Greater London from 26 October 2020 or face fines of up to £300 for the oldest models.
