WH Malcolm saw profit and turnover dip last year, despite a “robust” performance from its logistics arm. The company’s latest annual results for the year to 31 January 2017 revealed a turnover of £200.1m compared with £207.2m the year before. Operating profit, before exceptional items relating to the firm’s pension scheme, amounted to just over £9.7m (2016: £10.4m).
