C Butt Logistics turned a profit in its 2017/18 financial year for the first time since 2014, 12 months ahead of its self-predicted return to the black. C Butt made a loss for the year ending April 2016 of almost £356,000, but added its balance sheet and cash reserves remained strong.
Pall-Ex has confirmed C Butt will be taking on the postcode currently run by Mainland, following the latter’s merger with Knights of Old. Kettering-based Knights of Old is a member of the Palletforce network, while Northampton’s Mainland runs in the Pall-Ex network. The businesses merged last year.
