Pall-Ex founder member Murray Hogg has left the network and joined Palletforce.
The Newcastle-based haulier, which has a licence to operate 121 vehicles and 143 trailers, will handle the NE postcode for Palletforce.
Murray Hogg director Alyson Summerhill said: “We have enjoyed 90 years of success in the haulage industry, but we don’t believe in resting on our laurels. To remain at the cutting edge, it’s important to offer our customers the very best service possible.

The firm specialises in general haulage, car transportation, warehousing, container loading and unloading and overnight pallet deliveries.
Welcoming the company to the network, Palletforce chief executive Michael Conroy said: “Murray Hogg is a North-east institution and a name that has been synonymous with quality and reliability for nearly 100 years.

Pall-Ex MD Kevin Buchanan confirmed to MT that the operator had left, adding that the network had terminated its arrangements with Murray Hogg “as they were not able to comply with the operational requirements of being part of Pall-Ex”.
He added that a neighbouring Pall-Ex member has taken over Murray Hogg’s area of coverage.
