The Greater London Authority (GLA) has appointed Savills to help it balance the need for housing and industrial land in the capital. Supermarket group Morrisons has renewed its contract with Norbert Dentressangle for the operation of two of its distribution centres in Scotland. The new contract, which extends ND’s involvement for a further two years, covers the 575,000ft² composite DC at Bellshill and the Eurocentral 85,000ft² fresh produce DC, also near Glasgow. Potter Group Logistics has had its storage and distribution contract with Greencore Grocery extended by a further two years. The contract, worth approximately £3.2m, sees Potter group storing and moving ambient finished products for the manufacturer to customers in retail and foodservice sectors.
