UPS has opened a new sorting and delivery site at DP London Gateway. The £120m site will create around 500 new jobs, and is thought to be one of the parcel carrier’s largest infrastructure projects outside of the US. Drivers at UPS in Camden, London will strike for two days next week, in a row over alleged bullying, harassment and racism.
The European Commission (EC) said the aborted UPS and TNT merger would have increased prices and would not have been challenged enough by other carriers.
