Scania’s 13-litre gas engine rated up to 410hp will be available in a 6×2 tractor at some point. The high output engine can currently only be fitted under a G or R-series rigid or 4×2 tractor cab. Running on CNG or LNG it offers up to 15% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 90% reduction when burning biomethane compared with Euro-6 diesel.
