Yusen Logistics UK has been awarded a contract with Seiko UK, after the watch-maker moved to outsource its entire warehousing operation. Seiko brands include Pulsar and Lorus watches, as well as Seiko & Lorus Clocks. Norbert Dentressangle and the UK arm of customer Mitsubishi Electric Europe have jointly purchased a Daf LF Hybrid. The 12-tonne diesel/electric hybrid has joined the operator’s dedicated distribution fleet, which moves large industrial air conditioning units, Ecodan heating systems, spare parts and instruction manuals, for Mitsubishi Electric Europe.
