The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) ratings for Euro-6 trucks are now available, but in an unexpected twist TfL has placed the burden of finding out what they are onto the shoulders of hauliers and truck manufacturers. Chester-based Edwin C Farrall Transport and Wimbledon firm ELB Partners have both been awarded silver status under Fors, TfL’s voluntary fleet recognition scheme.
Operators will be charged for Fors membership from later this year, although the exact cost has not yet been revealed.
