A driver who died while making a delivery to Toyota’s factory in Burnaston last week worked for Goldstar Transport in Felixstowe, the motor manufacturer has confirmed.
TfL is to step away from the day-to-day running of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (Fors) and bring in a private party on a commercial basis, in a move that suggests operators will soon face a fee to be part of the initiative.
Member companies that breach Fors regulations will be punished with immediate termination from the scheme, Aecom, the company that runs it, has warned.
