DAF dealer group Imperial Commercials has a new MD.
Matt Lawrenson joined Imperial Commercials in 2002 and has held roles including general manager, regional director and, most recently, divisional director for Scotland and the East of England.
Lawrenson will step down as chairman of the DAF Trucks UK National Dealer Council at the end of this month, having already become chairman of the DAF Trucks International Dealer Council.
His appointment comes after the Hull branch of Imperial Commercials won a gold award at the 2018 International DAF Dealers of the Year awards in Spain.
The dealership was given the award for outstanding sales, service and parts performance.
