DHL Supply Chain has won a new three-year contract with train manufacturer Bombardier. The operator will operate on-site logistics for Bombardier’s Derby factory, managing £27m of of production materials every week. DHL Supply Chain will begin ground handling operations at London Gatwick Airport for EasyJet on 1 November, replacing Menzies Aviation.
DHL said that it remains satisfied with the performance of its Supply Chain subsidiary, despite a 23% year-on-year fall in turnover caused in part by a change in the way its NHS Supply Chain contract reports revenue.
