Wincanton has appointed David Hauff as general manager of Wincanton’s EnergyLink operation. The EnergyLink service which Hauff will head up was launched in 2016, and aims to support the ground fuels, aviation and bitumen markets by lowering distribution costs. Eddie Stobart labels Aggregate Industries’ decision to chop it as regrettable; as independents come to the fore
Eddie Stobart Logistics (ESL) has labelled the premature end of its Concrete Products Division contract with Aggregate Industries (AI) as “regrettable” in a letter to affected staff.
Wincanton has signed a five-year contract extension with petroleum refiner Valero in a deal that will see it move more than two billion litres of fuel a year.
Wincanton has won a five year storage and distribution contract with children’s toy and furniture manufacturer Worlds Apart. Annually, the contract will see the firm deliver 20,000 orders to around 1,350 locations, including homes and retailers.
