Yodel has expressed its disappointment at the results of a consumer poll in which it was voted the worst of the major parcel delivery firms in the UK.
DPD is to increase its nationwide capacity by opening 15 new or upgraded depots by the end of next year, including three that will be double the size of its regular sites.
DPD topped £1bn of turnover for the first time in 2016 and the Motor Transport Award multiple winner said it is aiming for £2bn of turnover by 2025.
