Gist and long-term customer Marks & Spencer have signed a 12 year extension to their warehousing and distribution partnership, with the first year of the contract estimated to be worth circa £300m.
Contract changes and one-off project costs contributed to Gist’s annual profit plunging by more than half last year, according to the firm’s latest results.
Gist has won one new contract and extended another with retailer Morrisons and flower supplier Dutch Flower Group respectively.
