Royal Mail and the Communication Workers Union (CWU) will appear in court this morning after the postal operator applied for a High Court injunction to prevent its employees from striking. Final mile postal workers could boycott mail handled by private sector firms in the new year, after a consultative ballot of Communication Workers’ Union (CWU) members at the Royal Mail.
