The European Commission (EC) has hit Scania with a €881m (£771m) fine after concluding that it broke EU antitrust rules. It means the commission has now levied fines approaching €3.8bn collectively against Europe’s major truck manufacturers. Lloyd Fraser Group has placed a 55-truck order with rental firm Ryder following a major 3PL contract win with an undisclosed fashion retailer.
