XPO Logistics has promoted its MD of European supply chain to the role of European CEO. Malcolm Wilson replaces Troy Cooper. Cooper had held the role since XPO bought Norbert Dentressangle in 2015, as well as his position as global chief operating officer (COO). Cooper continues in the global COO role. Hervé Montjotin has been named as the new chief executive officer at French logistics group Norbert Dentressangle, following the resignation of François Bertreau. In addition to his new role, Montjotin retains his previous responsibilities as head of the group’s transport division. The Barclay brothers, Sir David and Sir Frederick, owners of parcel giant Yodel, remain the richest men involved in road transport with a fortune of £2.2bn. Alastair Salvesen and family are second.
