Eddie Stobart and the Unite union will start talks at Acas this Thursday (15 November) in a bid to end the row over drivers’ jobs at Tesco’s Doncaster DC. A spokesman for Eddie Stobart confirmed to Motortransport.co.uk that the operator’s MD David Pickering will personally attending the talks with Unite at Acas. Former Tesco drivers at Eddie Stobart’s Doncaster DC have suspended further strike action so that union officials and the logistics firm’s management can resume talks this Friday (19 October).
