Retailer Marks & Spencer has confirmed that its new DC in Castle Donington in the East Midlands will open this spring. The 900,000ft² site, which M&S will run itself, will create around 1,000 new jobs over time, said a company spokesman.
Hermes has revealed that each of its ParcelShops handled an average 60 parcels a week in the run up to Christmas, as more than 60,000 parcels were moved through the network during the festive period.
