Kuehne + Nagel’s road and rail logistics division saw volumes fall in the third quarter due to seasonality and the tough economic conditions affecting Europe, dragging down its nine month performance. The Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) has called on the Irish government to use emergency powers to lift the drivers’ hours and tachograph rules for vehicles caught up at Calais.
