Next has introduced Paragon Software Systems’ HDX routeing software across its two-man delivery operation.
The system will allow Next to offer tighter delivery windows, customer notifications, consignment tracking and proof of delivery on its two-man delivery operation.
Next director of logistics Simon Kelly said: “Following a competitive tender process we decided Paragon HDX was the solution that would best meet our objectives, and allow us to offer our customers the most flexible delivery choices in the most cost effective manner.”
Paragon HDX offers modules from load capacity management, customer services and tracking for both operator and customer.
The system will help Next oversee 100 third-party delivery vehicles at locations across the country.
