Next has introduced Paragon Software Systems’ HDX routeing software across its two-man delivery operation. The system will allow Next to offer tighter delivery windows, customer notifications, consignment tracking and proof of delivery on its two-man delivery operation. Fashion and homeware chain Store Twenty One has reduced its fleet size by 27% since implementing Paragon routeing and scheduling software in December 2011, which its says will lead to around £500,000 in annual cost savings.
