Emma Dempsey has joined Clipper Logistics as its new chief operating officer (COO). Dempsey has previously worked for Accenture, Marks & Spencer and Unipart, and has more than 20 years’ experience working in the supply chain sector. Clipper Logistics has won a new contract with Swedish children’s clothes retailer Polarn O. Pyret. It sees Clipper provide logistics from its Ollerton facility, as well as a warehousing arrangement that will allow expansion of Polarn’s current product range and offer store replenishment it its second phase, reducing the lead time of stock from Sweden.
