Wincanton-owned 4PL business Flatnet Construction is looking to recruit more hauliers having completed more than 32,000 loads in its first 21 months of trading. Suttons Group has appointed former Wincanton chief executive Graeme McFaull as its chairman of supply chain and logistics.
After revealing its positive outlook for the rest of the current financial year last week, Wincanton’s continually increasing share price has hit its highest point since the MT Tracker began in January. The company updated investors that it had performed well in the first quarter of its current financial year, despite slipping container volume.
Wincanton has signed a three-year contract to provide a full multi-channel service to pet store group Jollyes.
