Wincanton-owned 4PL business Flatnet Construction is looking to recruit more hauliers having completed more than 32,000 loads in its first 21 months of trading. Wincanton has extended its contract with retailer Wickes just six months after landing the deal in a move which will see the logistics firm deliver kitchen and bathroom products across Devon and Cornwall.
Eddie Stobart Logistics (ESL) has hit back at Wincanton’s claims this week that it has withdrawn its interest in bidding for the company due to a lack of financial information, insisting it gave Wincanton “extensive due diligence commensurate with its status as a strategic competitor”.
Wincanton is sitting pretty after a three-year contract award from Banbury-based beauty brand distributor DCS Group.
