Palletways has appointed former SIG finance director Richard Myatt as group finance director at the network, replacing Andrew Reynolds.
Myatt has previously held a variety of financial roles at two of the largest own-account operators in the UK: several roles held at Saint-Gobain include finance director at Jewson; most recently he worked at SIG as finance director, UK, Ireland and Middle East where he spent two years managing business transformation programmes across the whole group.

In August 2016 Dave Walmsley was named as the MD of Palletways (UK) as part of a wide-ranging management restructure at the network that sees former UK MD Luis Zubialde move into the new role of chief operating officer at Palletways Group.
Palletways Group was bought by South-African group Imperial Holdings for £163m in June.
