The UK was Scania’s biggest market worldwide in 2016, the first time this country has topped the Swedish truck builder’s sales charts, according to Mathias Carlbaum, Scania’s executive vice president for commercial operations. Henrik Henriksson took over the top job as president and CEO of Scania in January 2016, succeeding Per Hallberg, who had been filling the role since April 2015 when Martin Lundstedt defected to head up rival Volvo.
