Cannock-based EDS Couriers has relocated to a 2.5 acre depot after a £3m investment in new premises and equipment, which includes a £194,000 purpose-built canopy to house Palletforce trucks. Kinaxia Logistics has snapped up its seventh haulage firm in just over five years, with Telford-based AJ Maiden & Son, which trades as Maiden’s of Telford, joining the fold.
Palletforce is to expand operations in the South East, with plans to open a southern hub, following its acquisition of QTR Transport earlier this year.
Palletforce is looking to take advantage of inevitable consolidation in the pallet sector with its new £50m hub, according to chief executive Michael Conroy.
