The head of FairFuel UK (FFUK) Howard Cox has said the campaign remains very much alive and kicking, after the departure of co-founder Peter Carroll.
The chancellor Philip Hammond has frozen fuel duty, the HGV Road User Levy and vehicle excise duty (VED) in today’s budget but had little to offer in regards to tackling the UK’s chronic congestion.
The industry has welcomed the chancellor’s decision to cancel the planned September fuel duty rise, but says more still needs to be done to get the economy on the road to recovery.
