Clipper Logistics has signed a ten year deal with The John Lewis Partnership to provide retail support services from Clipper’s new DC in Northampton.

This latest contract comes just weeks after the Leeds-based company signed an extended store returns deal with M&S.

Clipper clients include Harvey Nichols, ASOS, Asda, Supergroup, Morrisons, New Look, Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

The new 500,000ft² DC, located at Grange Park in Northampton, was acquired by Clipper earlier this year specifically for John Lewis.

The site will operate as the national returns centre for the retailer, managing all e-fulfillment and store returns as well as providing pre-retailing and ancillary services.

Steve Parkin, executive chairman at Clipper Logistics, said: “Clipper has had a long and close relationship with John Lewis which continues to develop on a number of fronts.

“We are delighted to be partnering with them once more and to have finalised this long term contract to enable us to continue to support their operations in the UK.”

Last year Clipper signed a deal to develop the partnership's click and collect service in its Waitrose stores.
