Howard Tenens has secured a five-year extension to its contract with building supplies firm Toolstation. The operator, which provides trunking between hubs and deliveries to Toolstation branches, has worked with the firm since 2009 and services the contract using several 15.65m longer-semi trailers. Underlay and flooring accessory manufacturer Interfloor has outsourced its transport to Norbert Dentressangle, in a three-year multi-million pound deal. The operation involves more than 100 outbound movements from Interfloor’s production sites in Haslingden, Lancashire and Scotland’s Dumfries. ND will use a new fleet of 19 artics with cutainside-trailers and 11 (18-tonne) rigids to handle the outbound movements. It will also make more than 500 customer deliveries a week.
