Jersey Post has bought Portsmouth haulier Fraser Freight, after what the carrier described as one of its “most financially challenging years” to date. DX Group has acquired almost half of last-mile delivery firm Gnewt Cargo for £1.75m.
Ripon-based Potter Group Logistics has bought York logistics firm and Palletline member House of James for an undisclosed sum. The deal, struck yesterday (16 May) boosts Potter’s turnover by 50% to £22m, adding 100,000ft² of warehousing space, 35 vehicles and 55 trailers to the fleet.
