Bibby Distribution has said it is too soon to comment on what impact the closure of discount supermarket Netto will have on its business. Bibby Distribution has won a contract with bread maker Frank Roberts and Sons, which trades as Roberts Bakery, after a 12 month trial of the operation.
The DfT will offer longer semi-trailers on a first come, first served basis before next year, after admitting the current timescale for getting the trial’s 1,800 units onto the UK’s roads will not be met.
