The Transport Committee is to hold a follow-up inquiry next month into cycle safety, after the sixth cycling death in London within the past fortnight.
Transport for London (TfL) has confirmed the Mayor is contemplating the creation of a new ring road beneath the capital in order to tackle congestion.
TfL is not currently planning a rationalisation of its plans for various congestion and emission zones across London, despite conceding that it has “a lot of zones” and some small operators are not ready for them.
