Eddie Stobart Logistics will replace XPO Logistics as the logistics partner for Aggregate Industries’ Concrete Products division. The five year contract, commencing October 2016, will see Stobart move finished products from Bradstone, Charcon and Masterblock from 14 sites across the UK. Eddie Stobart is facing a third strike by its drivers based at Tesco’s Doncaster DC. Although the operator and Unite had been in talks via Acas in a bid to resolve the long-running jobs dispute, efforts to find a way forward have failed.
