UK Mail has renewed its contract with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) after what it described as a “competitive tender process”. The mail carrier, which recently underwent a makeover with a new logo and website, will remain responsible for the collection, sortation and delivery of RBS’s mail across the UK. Stobart Group has reported a “satisfactory” start to the year, despite low volumes from FMCG customers in its Eddie Stobart transport and distribution division.
Fowler Welch boosted revenue 6% to £152.4m for the year ended 31 March, with pre-tax profit up to £3.9m, from £2.6m the previous year. The FMCG specialist downsized its container division in the period, with the closure of its Felixstowe site.
