Ofcom is concerned that Royal Mail could potentially cross-subsidise its parcels operation through its letters business, as its market share and delivery network is much more established in the latter. LaFarge and Tarmac owner Anglo American have revealed the executive team that will oversee their UK joint venture. Jamie Pike has been named as the venture’s non-executive chairman, Cyrille Ragoucy as chief executive and Guy Young as chief financial officer (CFO).
