XPO Logistics has signed a“multi-million pound” contract with door manufacturer Door-Stop International. The three year deal will see XPO move more than 10,000 doors for the Masonite group subsidiary. The operator will provide an end-to-end service for Door-Stop, starting at the manufacturer’s Nottingham site. Bulk deliveries will be made to XPO’s Rochester and Gloucester depots, after which two-man XPO teams will take doors out for delivery in a fleet of Door-Stop branded vans. High street retailer Next has extended its contract with Hermes extending their relationship to over 30 years.
Woodland Logistics has renewed its contract with packaging manufacturer Cepac for a further five years. The two parties have worked together for seven years and the renewal will see Woodland Logistics manage distribution out of Cepac’s Rotherham, South Yorkshire-based warehouse.
