East Yorkshire bulk powder haulier Simon Gibson Transport has been acquired by French logistics firm Groupe Charles André (GCA) for an undisclosed sum. Simon Gibson Transport, founded 16 years ago, employs 138 staff and runs a fleet of 94 vehicles. Heathrow-based courier Crossflight has acquired the operations of North London firm DDI Worldwide as part of its expansion strategy. As of today (7 January), Crossflight will run DDI’s express courier, UK overnight and mail services out of its headquarters in Heathrow.
