The United Pallet Network (UPN) has extended its lease at its Fradley Park central-hub location.

The pallet network is planning a 5,110m² extension at the Staffordshire location, which will take its total there to 23,226m² and a nightly capacity of more than 11,000 pallets.

“This important lease extension provides the platform for UPN to continue to grow our network with the comfort of the knowledge that in the right location, we definitely have the ongoing capacity for significant growth,” said Andrew Lowe, operations director at UPN.

UPN said that it had added 24 new members to the network last year, taking its overall membership to a new record high of more than 90.

Last month the pallet network launched the third generation of its App for live signature capture.
