Welcome to the fourth edition of Motor Transport's Power Players - the list of the 20 people we believe have the most influence, and exert the most control, over the road transport industry.
The 2015 edition of the Power Players is by no means objective, but the journalists here at Motortransport.co.uk have hotly debated the merits of those included. In the list you will find operators, both own-account and third-party, industry stakeholders and politicians.
The one thing they all have in common is a direct influence of the present, and future, of the industry - as well as the capcity to, and ability to, direct or influence the behaviour of others.
