A public consultation has been launched into proposals for a new lorry parking area as an alternative to Operation Stack in Kent. Time is running out for HGV drivers and operators to oppose government plans to make lorry drivers legally liable in the event of a collision, the RHA warned this week.
The DVSA is considering allowing operators within its Earned Recognition scheme to conduct their own annual tests.
