Industry voices disapproval over campaign to ban abnormal and hazardous loads from Dartford Crossing
A campaign to ban oversized and hazardous goods from using the Dartford Crossing has come under fire from others in the road transport sector.
The RHA is to launch legal action against the major truck manufacturers, after they were found guilty by the European Commission of price fixing and fined €2.9bn (£2.5bn).
The RHA is growing more optimistic that the government will provide extra support for the road transport industry after weeks of “frustrating” discussions with roads minister Baroness Vere.
