A team of TfL officers is to tackle congestion in traffic hot spots across London in an effort to keep the capital moving. Vehicles illegally stopping and unloading will be targeted by the 40-strong team of road and transport enforcement officers, which will work in 10 areas that are particularly affected by congestion. Ford has become the latest CV manufacturer to sign up the FTA’s Van Excellence scheme. Launched in 2010, the voluntary scheme offers accreditation to those operators who can demonstrate high quality fleet management and systems compliance.
