Harlow MP Robert Halfon has called for a parliamentary debate on whether the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) should investigate UK fuel prices. Pressure group FairFuelUK (FFUK) has called on the UK’s decision makers to make better use of technology in reducing road transport emissions further, rather than using the blunt instrument of increased taxation.
LPG trade association UKLPG has signed up as an official backer of FairFuelUK (FFUK), and has taken the opportunity to urge the government to make alternative fuels more affordable in next month’s Budget.
