Leicester-based Premier Logistics has added a second southern site to its rapidly growing operation.
Hermes has revealed record results at its UK division, with revenue up 22% in 2011. The parcels company says this reinforces its position as the country’s second-largest home-delivery business. Revenue stood at €303m during 2011, up from €248m in the previous year. Hermes says its UK arm handled more than 140 million parcels during the year, as demand for its home delivery services increased with online retail sales.
