TNT sets the scene for improved performance in 2016

TNT said 2015 will continue to be a year of transition for the company after reporting third quarter turnover of €1.6bn (£1.2bn), up 2.3% year-on-year, and a €27m operating loss, compared with an operating loss of €51m for the third quarter of 2014.

Astra Vehicle Technologies has developed a retrofit floor-height door window for the passenger side of an HGV to provide a direct view of cyclists and pedestrians. Vision Techniques is launching a new safety system at Freight in the City that will prevent an HGV from rolling away if the handbrake has not been applied. VTBrakeSafe automatically applies a vehicle’s handbrake if the driver has forgotten to use it, as well as providing an audible alarm.
