DHL has won a nationwide vehicle distribution contract with car dealership Vindis Group. The new contract will see DHL’s vehicle distribution arm Inside Track handle over 4,000 movements of new and demonstrator vehicles per year from Vindis’ site in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire, while the majority of the deliveries will take place in the East of England. The GMB union has started negotiations with agency Tempay about the rates of pay awarded to agency warehouse staff it supplies to DHL’s DC in Swindon run for Marks & Spencer.
